Originally from Toronto, Canada, I began my love of all things to do with water from my father, with whom I used to hunt and fish since I was very small. I was in boats almost all summer, and on ice in the wintertime. As a teen and young 20-something adult, power boats became the main attraction, with water skiing and windsurfing being favorite pastimes. Scuba diving came soon after.

In 1995, I left Canada to set up an international personal development business enterprise that I co-founded and managed for the next 12 years whilst living in, and travelling from, residencies in the Turks & Caicos, Dominica, mainland St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), Bequia, SVG, and St. Martin, FWI.

What began as hobby, recreation and life-long favored activities has since become my profession. It was in the Turks more than 10 years ago that I originally learned to sail, on a friend's custom built 56' trimaran. Several trips around the planet later, I have now visited over 50 countries, lived in 6, and possess a burning desire to explore, experience and learn more.

In April of 2006, I packed it all in for a transatlantic crossing from the Caribbean to Greece on a sailing catamaran, a trip of over 5,000 miles, have had enormous adventures and opportunities since then (see my CV for details), and am now desirous of the next leg on the journey.

what I believe

I believe in providing great service and work ethic, in being grateful, in looking beyond the obvious; and I value, most of all, the ability to think for myself.

This initiative and other inherent qualities have all contributed to the various comments and testimonies you see on my references page, in being a valuable, self-starting, conscientious, hardworking team player.

I believe in giving everything my best, no matter how menial that task might be, or conversely, how insurmountable a given challenge may, at first, appear.

My desire is to work on a vessel with yacht owner(s) who are like-minded, uplifting, positive people whose pursuit of happiness, great lifestyle, good fun and sound personal and business management are at the heart of their success and well being. It would be my pleasure, and privilege, to serve on such a yacht, and to foster this described environment amongst owners, crew and guests.

Please contact me directly to discuss your requirements and how I may be able to contribute.
