I have known Sandra Fieger since 1995 and have had her work for me in a number of different capacities.

Sandra first worked as a dive master and office manager while I operated a dive shop in the Turks & Caicos. While still there, she underwent a multi-year tutelage with me (and owner Captain David C. Mathew) in all aspects of sailing on "Tao", a 57' custom built trimaran. She served as cook, deckhand, and mate for chartering work, from one day to multi day, and two week trips. She also showed a great deal of interest, and competence, in navigation, both traditional and electronic, and in the general maintenance and operation of the vessel.

More recently, I called on her to help me with my current position as captain of m/v "Hand The Line", a 60' private motor yacht to move her from Puerto Rico to her home port in St. Thomas, USVI. I also had her as mate to take the yacht from St. Thomas, to Bequia, then back to base.

Sandra has always been friendly, dependable, conscientious and keen to be of assistance. She has an aptitude for observation, making her effective in being proactive, avoiding mishaps, or finding creative solutions with the available resources on hand and in anticipating the needs of the captain, other crew, or guests onboard. I have also experienced Sandra to be amenable to training, constructive criticism or correction, and she picks up on things very quickly, often indirectly. She possesses a wide range of skills and abilities that would prove most valuable to any operation.

As a result, I can wholeheartedly recommend Sandra for private or charter work on either sailing or motor yachts.
